The Portland Tennis and Education’s Tennis Ball Gala took place on October 15, 2022 at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland. This is the 25th Anniversary of the program, and featured ESPN Tennis Analyst and Commentator Brad Gilbert as a special guest.

John Nee, President of Act 1 Partners, had the extreme pleasure of welcoming and introducting Brad Gilbert during a VIP Happy Hour. We heard stories from his days as Andre Agassi’s coach as well as his own time on the tour.
The evening continued with a cocktail hour featuring a silent auction, wine wall, and plenty of 90’s outfits. The guests were having a great time mingling and seeing each other face to face. The dinner program was lively as we heard about the Portland Tennis and Education mission for the coming year. After a live auction, a scholarship winner announcement, paddle raise, and interview with Brad Gilbert, the evening concluded with the reveal of the new PT&E logo.
